تاثیر متابولیک زعفران و کروسین: یک مطالعه سیستماتیک و متاآنالیز به‌روز شده

مطالعه سیستماتیک و متاآنالیز حاضر به منظور نشان دادن تاثیر محافظتی مکمل زعفران و کروسین بر چربی خون و هیپرگلیسمی در کارآزمایی‌های بالینی تصادفی‌شده طراحی شد. تجزیه و تحلیل تلفیقی با استفاده از مدلی برای اثرات تصادفی نشان داد که سطح HDL-C در زعفران ۰.۲۱ برابر و در گروه کروسین ۰.۰۱ برابر بیشتر از دارونما بود. سطوح LDL-C در گروه زعفران به میزان ۰.۵۱ و ۰.۰۴ برابر در گروه کروسین در مقایسه با دارونما کاهش یافت. همچنین سطح TC در گروه زعفران ۰.۱۹ کمتر و در گروه کروسین ۰.۱۱ برابر کمتر از گروه دارونما بود. سطح TG در گروه زعفران ۰.۰۴ و در کروسین ۰.۰۲ برابر کمتر از گروه کنترل بود. سطح گلوکز خون تفاوت معنی‌داری با گروه کنترل نداشت. این مطالعه نشان می‌دهد که زعفران و کروسین ممکن است پروفایل لیپیدی سرم را در بیماران مبتلا به اختلالات متابولیک تعدیل کنند.

This systematic review and meta-analysis was designed to demonstrate the protective effects of saffron and crocin supplementation on blood lipids and hyperglycemia in randomized clinical trials. Pooled analysis using a random-effects model showed that HDL-C levels were 0.21 times higher in the saffron group and 0.01 times higher in the crocin group compared to the placebo. LDL-C levels decreased by 0.51 times in the saffron group and 0.04 times in the crocin group compared to the placebo. Additionally, total cholesterol (TC) levels were 0.19 times lower in the saffron group and 0.11 times lower in the crocin group compared to the placebo. Triglyceride (TG) levels were 0.04 times lower in the saffron group and 0.02 times lower in the crocin group compared to the control group. Blood glucose levels showed no significant difference compared to the control group. This study suggests that saffron and crocin may modulate the serum lipid profile in patients with metabolic disorders.
