مکانیزاسیون تولید زعفران

قدرت کشاورزی و مکانیزاسیون کارایی نیروی کار را بهبود می‌بخشد و بازده هر کارگر را افزایش می‌دهد. تولید زعفران نیروی کار فشرده‌ای دارد و همین سبب می‌شود زعفران گران‌ترین ادویه‌جات در جهان باشد. در مقایسه با سایر محصولات کشاورزی، مکانیزاسیون در تولید زعفران به خوبی توسعه نیافته است. برای آماده‌سازی بستر خاک قبل از کاشت، علف‌زنی و شکستن کمر، می‌توان از تجهیزات موجود استفاده کرد، اما کاشت و برداشت نیاز به تجهیزات و ماشین‌آلات خاصی دارد. مکانیزاسیون فرآیند برداشت زعفران (چیدن گل و جداسازی کلاله) می‌تواند علاوه بر کاهش هزینه‌های تولید، آلودگی میکروبی کلاله را نیز کاهش دهد. این فصل به مشکلات مکانیزاسیون در مراحل مختلف تولید زعفران از جمله آماده‌سازی بستر خاک، کندن و دسته‌بندی پیازچه‌ها، کاشت پیازچه، حفاظت از محصول، و برداشت زعفران می‌پردازد. بعلاوه، تجهیزات و ابزارهای موجود در حال حاضر برای مکانیزاسیون تولید زعفران مورد بحث قرار می‌گیرد.

Farm power and mechanization improves labor efficiency and enhances the yield per worker. Saffron production is labor-intensive, making saffron the world’s most expensive spice. In comparison with other agricultural products, mechanization of saffron production is not well-developed. For soil bed preparation before planting, weeding, and crust breaking, existing equipment can be used, but planting and harvesting requires special equipment and machines. The mechanization of the saffron harvesting process (flower picking and stigma separation) can reduce microbial contamination of stigma in addition to lowering production costs. This chapter focuses on mechanization problems during the different stages of saffron production including soil bed preparation, corm digging and sorting, corm planting, crop protection, and saffron harvesting. Moreover, the implements and equipment currently available for mechanization of saffron production are discussed.
