Saffron is widely obtained from the flower of Crocus sativus, mainly known as the plant Crocus Saffron. This vibrant orange-red spice has been cherished for centuries, not only for its unique flavour and colour but also for its medicinal properties. In India, saffron holds a special place in both culinary and traditional medicinal practices, particularly in Ayurveda.
