THE ROLE OF DYE PLANTS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF AZERBAIJAN CARPET WEAVING

این مقاله به نقش گیاهان رنگی در توسعه بافندگی فرش‌های آذربایجانی می‌پردازد. ذکر شده است که گیاهان رنگی مدت‌هاست که نقش مهمی در طراحی هنری فرش‌های آذربایجانی ایفا کرده‌اند، که اکنون تزئین بسیاری از موزه‌های جهان هستند. مقاله به بررسی تاریخچه و منطقه کشت گیاهانی مانند گیاه رنگی و زعفران می‌پردازد که در رنگرزی فرش‌ها به رنگ‌های قرمز و زرد به طور گسترده استفاده می‌شوند و نقش آن‌ها در تجارت خارجی آذربایجان را بررسی می‌کند. همچنین، روش‌های رنگرزی از چمن‌ها، درختچه‌ها و درختانی که در رنگرزی نخ‌های مورد استفاده برای بافندگی فرش استفاده می‌شوند و کاربرد آن‌ها در بافندگی فرش مطالعه شده است.

The article discusses the role of dye plants in the development of Azerbaijani carpet weaving. It is noted that dye plants have long played an important role in the artistic design of Azerbaijani carpets, which are now the decoration of many world museums. The article explores the history and area of cultivation of plants such as dye plant and saffron, which are widely used in dyeing carpets in red and yellow, and their role in Azerbaijan’s foreign trade. Also, the methods of dyeing grass, shrubs and trees used in dyeing yarns intended for carpet weaving and their application in carpet weaving were studied.
