باورها و اعمال طالع‌بینی گیاهان مطابق با خورشید در فرهنگ تامیل منطقه سیواگانگا، تامیل نادو – یک مطالعه کیفی اتنوبوتانی

هدف مطالعه حاضر، مستندسازی گیاهان مرتبط با اقدامات درمانی خورشید در طالع‌بینی، دانش سنتی مرتبط با اهداف طالع‌بینی از طالع‌بینان (34 نفر) و باورها و اعمال مردم محلی (156 نفر) از منطقه سیواگانگا، تامیل نادو است. روش‌های ارزیابی مشارکتی روستایی و ارزیابی سریع روستایی برای جمع‌آوری داده‌ها و اطلاعات از منطقه مورد مطالعه استفاده شد. مطالعه حاضر 8 گونه گیاهی به نام‌های Aegle marmelos، Calotropis gigantea، Cinnamonum camphora، Cinnamonum verum، Crocus sativus، Hibiscus rosa sinensis، Nelumbo nucifera و Triticum. aestivum را به همراه 15 هدف طالع‌بینی، 19 باور و 22 عمل آیینی گزارش کرده است. این مطالعه اعمال را ارزیابی کرد و نشان داد که ماهیت، رنگ و طول موج اجزای گیاه مورد استفاده با اقدامات درمانی مرتبط بوده و از این امر پشتیبانی می‌کند که یک دلیل سیستماتیک و علمی در پشت باور، رسم، دانش، نظرات و اعمال طالع‌بینی وجود دارد.

The present study aims to document the plants associated with Sun’s remedial measures in astrology, traditional knowledge related to astrological purpose from astrologers (n=34) and belief cum practices from local people (n= 156) of Sivaganga district, Tamil Nadu. Participatory Rural Appraisal methods and Rapid Rural Appraisal were used to collect data and information from the study area. The present study has reported 8 plant species namely Aegle marmelos, Calotropis gigantea, Cinnamonum camphora, Cinnamonum verum, Crocus sativus, Hibiscus rosa sinensis, Nelumbo nucifera and Triticum. aestivum along with 15 astrological purposes, 19 beliefs and 22 ritual practices. The study evaluated the practices and revealed that the used plant parts nature, colour and wavelength were associated with remedial measures and supports that there is a systematic and scientific reason behind the astrological belief, custom, knowledge, opinions and practices.
