ارزیابی ارقام زعفران (Crocus sativus L.) کشت‌شده تحت شرایط اقلیمی-کشاورزی دره کویته، بلوچستان، پاکستان

دو آزمایش انجام شد: یکی ارزیابی سه رقم مختلف زعفران (محلی، Mongra و Sargul) و دیگری تأثیر اندازه بنه بر رشد و تولید رقم محلی. نتایج نشان داد که بنه‌های کوچک (کمتر از ۱۰ گرم) در سال اول کاشت قادر به تولید گل نبودند، در حالی که بنه‌های با اندازه حداکثری (S-1 تا S-5) گل‌های با کیفیت خوبی تولید کردند. تعداد گل‌های به طور معناداری بالاتر (۴۱۲۵۶۸ در هکتار) توسط بنه‌های S-1 تولید شد و پس از آن S-2 (۱۸۷۶۱۴ در هکتار). در میان ارقام مختلف، تعداد گل‌های به طور معناداری بالاتر (۲۱۴۹۳۶.۲۴ گل در هکتار) توسط رقم محلی تولید شد و پس از آن Sargul. عملکرد بالاتر گل‌ها می‌تواند به دوره گلدهی طولانی‌تر (۲۴ روز) توسط رقم محلی در مقایسه با Sargul (۱۷.۶۶ روز) و Mongra (۱۳.۶۶ روز) نسبت داده شود. این نتایج نشان داد که بنه‌های حداکثری (۲۰-۳۵ گرم) منجر به تولید بالاتر گل‌ها، عملکرد بالاتر کلاله (زعفران) با تعداد بالاتر بنه‌های دختر در سال اول کاشت شد. رقم محلی از نظر عملکرد گل و زعفران همراه با سایر اجزای عملکرد مرتبط بهترین رقم ثابت شد. این مطالعه آشکار کرد که رقم محلی زعفران بسیار مناسب برای کاشت تحت شرایط اقلیمی-کشاورزی کویته، بلوچستان، پاکستان است.

Two experiments were conducted: one on the evaluation of three different saffron cultivars (Local, Mongra, and Sargul) and the other on the effects of corm size on the growth and production of the local variety. Results showed that small-sized corms (less than 10 g) could not produce flowers during the first year of planting, while maximum size corms (S-1 to S-5) produced good quality flowers. The significantly higher number of flowers (412,568/ha) were produced by S-1 corms followed by S-2 (187,614/ha). Among different varieties, the significantly higher number of flowers (214,936.24 flowers/ha) were produced by the local variety, followed by Sargul. The higher yield of flowers can be attributed to a longer flowering period (24 days) by the local variety compared to Sargul (17.66 days) and Mongra (13.66 days). These results showed that maximum corms (20-35 g) resulted in higher production of flowers, higher yield of stigma (saffron) with higher number of daughter corms in the first year of plantation. The local variety proved to be the best cultivar in terms of flower and saffron yield along with other related yield components. This study revealed that the local variety of saffron is very suitable for planting under the agro-climatic conditions of Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan.
